Title: One Nation candidate for the Hunter in nsw Post by Daves2017 on Oct 17th, 2026 at 12:09pm
:He’s right across the issues of NSW, regardless of the fact he’s been living in Japan for the last 25 years … he’s always kept his eye on politics here in Australia,” Hanson said. “Premier >[Chris] Minns, he’s really got a fight on his hands now.”
A life of a trade envoy has this loser desperate to stay on the taxpayer gravy train. He has nothing to offer. |

Would you prefer One Nation post candidates that have never left their home town?

Quite possibly. The role of the politician ( in this system) is too understand what the electorate they represent want or require and represent those concerns in parliament. There would i argue no better person to do that duty than a local of the electorate who has never set foot outside of it. Do you prefer your representative to parliament is someone who has never lived in your electorate let alone Australia for the past 30 years and why? You don't trust the people in your community? |

I don't think it is relevant these days, if it ever was. The issues we face are pretty much universal. None of the issues I vote on are specific to or confined to my electorate, whatever the level of government is. That's why most people vote for a party, not a local candidate. They might not know, care about, or have ever met the actual candidate. But they put their trust in the institution. |

Wrong FD.
People vote for what their Media tells them to vote for. |

Yes. Its how the Media disempowers independent public opinion with confusion and renders them reliant on Media opinion. Thus, BOTH gay Left ALP & Co along with redneck One Nation are serving the Media's narrative and control, because the Media control BOTH. As for the Coalition? Well the Media are saying "I wonder what those Star Destroyers are waiting for?" . Because the Coalition aren't buying into the Media's game. It's a big risk. But hey, maybe, just maybe. Australians will vote for the Quiet Achiever in the last leg. |

To answer your question.
Nein. I do believe we all live in different countries and states and valleys that don't equire the same needs or government assistance. I do believe once one valley enters a period of prosperity they should share with adjoining valley. The further the internet expansion the more I feel the need to pull back and spend less time on the internet and more time listening in my own local valley. My community needs are unfortunately exactly the same as Gazza. Many are living in tents however they aren't displaced by war. It's a interesting topic ja? Should we shop locally or import a politician from 30 years living as a senior trade aid on the public purse from Japan |

It depends. Australia has been politically strong and disciplined by two parties that have adhered to the British system sponsorship here.
Since the Keating stab in the back of Hawke. The so called Mateship & Lucky Country was over and Australian politics became American (Media) Leftism. Suddenly, Australia was a colony of America. It has become so bad. Our politics has degenerated into a reality TV show of backstabbings, b#tching women, activistism smut and everything else you see on those deplorable Media shows. The Media loves it! It's in control. Yes, One Nation is a part of it. So reliant on the Media from the very start. The Coalition on the other hand, has stepped back from relying on the Media and letting it control them. It cost them the last Election. But maybe, allowing the the ALP, Teals, Greens & One Nation to over achieve in their brawling dinner table fighting. May FATIGUE Australian voters with such and turn them back to a more conservative Coalition to settle the madness that has become this country, back to a more pro-political stability and less Media Sh#t Show.??? |

Well at least he will not require any training on how to rort and steal from taxpayers as his been doing it for the previous 30 years-
"Mike Newman was questioned over his spending habits during his 28-month stint as a senior trade commissioner in Japan, with one executive rejecting a $211 bill for lunch." " Smh If he does get elected its just another pig to the trough. |
