Title: Wallaby Renaissance?
Post by Jasin on Oct 10th, 2026 at 4:01pm
Wallabies v All Blacks very soon.

Since becoming Coach. Les Kiss has done something not seen since the Alan Jones era.
Create a consistent winning formula.
AND ...with a side, less impressive than the talent Jones had at his disposal.

Having bamboozled,  confused and out smarted the physically superior World Champion Springboks.
The Wallabies now face the most cunning, rule bending and intelligent team in the world.
Will we see Les Kiss 💋  conquer another great adversity?  Especially with a 30+ years record of not having beaten the All Blacks at Eden Park, let alone the Bedisloe Cup as well.

If Les Kiss 💋  pulls this off. I don't there has every been a sporting resurrection better than this in Aust sporting history.

I'm thinking Coach Kiss will do the opposite of what he did with the Boks.
Wallabies couldn't out muscle them. So they out smarted them.
Can't outsmart the All Blacks. THEN OUT MUSCLE THEM with a game formula of Keep It Simple Stupid .  ;)

...this feels like History is in the air.

The hair on the back of my neck is in the air.

Right away, everything is quiet in the Kiwi crowd.
...you can hear the fear in their silence.

Preference for a try over an easy penalty kick.
Wallabies eventually get their try & kick to lead 7 nil.

The crowd still is quiet.
Maybe in shock still from seeing what Australia did to the Boks?

All Blacks score and the crowd comes alive.
It was all just a scare. Nothing to worry about. Everything back to normal of NZ always beating Oz.

NZ score again .

See, it was all just a bad dream.
The Wallabies never could beat the Boks and definitely not them in Eden Park after 40 years  ;D

NZ back to normal. They've got the game won already as always.

...or have they?

Have some courage for the Aussies.

You are showing a lack of moral fiber.

If the Wallabies keep their winning ways going, they might recall more of an Aussie audience to watch their games. How little interest did the media give the Wallabies during their doldrum days?

There's only one try in it.

Kiwis winning 14 to 7 at 32 minutes in.

I think you've misread me Bobby.
I'm telling it like I know the Wallabies will win.  ;)

...something I've never felt confident with for over 35 years or so.
But even before kick off, I would have bet my house on a Wallaby win.

Just 3 points in it.

Your house?
The Wallabies can't win at Eden Park - it's jinxed.

Kiwis winning 17 to 14 at half time.

I knew the tide had turned Bobby.
When under Kiss, Wallabies had suddenly 3 wins behind them and the Aust Cricketers had just got flogged by Bangladesh 🇧🇩  in Darwin.

Kiwis just got another try   31 to 14 -  Aussies being pummeled.

They will still win.

If they don't.
Then they are no different to all the previous Wallaby CHOKERS
and Les Kiss just fluked it for a short while before joining the other Coaches down in the dung heap.

I was talking in terms of winning at least 75% of their games -- instead of losing them. We could see audiences tune in, and people going to their games.

No one wants to see their home team pummeled into the dirt.    ;D
