Title: The Buddy List
Post by UnSubRocky on Sep 30th, 2026 at 11:32am
Perhaps the answers are located around the website. However, what is the buddy list's purpose?

I have used a buddy list to be able to better find other user's posts I want to read, on other forums. But that feature does not show on this website. And does the other forum member know that you have them in your buddy list?

It seems that the buddy list is just a reminder of who you like on this website forum.

OK....so honestly no one has explained how or what it allows and why it's there?

I just wanted to confirm that is what you are asking?

Other buddy lists (or its equivalent) gives the forum user the knowledge that a 'buddy' has posted something.

The one here is actually a gateway to a dating website.

Has anyone told you password?

You need at least five buddies before you can learn the safe word  :D

Buddy List
The Buddy List section of the profile gives you the ability to add other members that your frequently contact to a list that will show in your User CP view. Your Buddy List will display each name, their Online/Offline status, and link options to send the user a PM, an e-Mail, or visit the link to their website.
Add users to your Buddy List by clicking on the link below the Buddy List display box.
Delete users from your Buddy List by double-clicking on their user name inside the Buddy List display box.

"Home" then "Garden" up the top, then "Next"?
