Title: Labor's immigration policy
Post by Gordon on Sep 17th, 2026 at 6:24pm
It's a hollow policy to try and stop people voting one nation. They seem more interested in getting rid of a few Irish overstay backpackers picking up glasses in a pub or Asian students working at a bubble tea place. They have no intention of stopping Islamic and Indian invasion who the hope will vote for them.

There is all the bleating about cutting back immigration would ruin the economy and that it is hard to find workers as it is.

We had over a million new permanent migrants since 2022, plus another million temporary migrants. Only a fraction of them are skilled.

The immigration system is gamed mercilessly. You can find any number of ISIS brides, trolley pushers, petrol station attendants, indian uber derives, bancrupt ex-taxi drivers with $3 billion in debt but no skilled workers.

And that's just the economy. Also consider the social and cultural fracturing.  Multicultural mass immigration is a social, cultural and economic disaster.

Good to see so many now getting onboard with what I warned about earlier - that personal GDP falls when more people arrive etc even though gross or national GDP is 'rising'.... the dollars just get thinner = inflation ..... now the pundits are discussing the reality of personal recession... by the individual... clear as the nose on my face...  Burka's policy is a nothingburger... there will be no effective change there, and I've always said that students and backpackers and temporary workers are NOT immigrants... if you saw his speech on the issue you'd laugh as I did...

As for 'skilled workers' and 'tradesmen' - we are being blatantly lied to about that, as Frank said, with very few being actually skilled.  It's just lies - and bringing in more only kicks the problems down the road - since they will use up precious utilities and facilities such as hospitals education and such, and will create a bigger and bigger need down the track for aged care and even pensions thus defeating the whole purpose of bringing them in at all.  Where's your fabled GDP when they all reach pension age?

Also interesting comments on AI today in Parliament... citing many of the dangers I also pointed out, and on top of that Monsieur Burgess stated that same things about 'booby traps' that can shut down imported electronics and cars and even our electrical grid etc... hello solar panels..... windmills ... he also said that 70% of ASIO's case load is Islamic... but there are (hastily said) a few neo-Nazi problems...

You may thank and applaud me later...

"Here is the truth according to Labor’s immigration minister Tony Burke:

> “Mass immigration” is not happening in Australia.

> Immigration did not cause a shortage of homes, in fact it is the “solution” to the housing crisis.

> Drastic cuts to immigration would “trash the economy”.

He said this at the National Press Club yesterday, the same day that the ABS announced there had been almost 300,000 extra people added to our population over the past 12 months through immigration.

You and I know that Labor opened the floodgates to millions of people.

But if you talk about it, the minister calls you “absurd”."

Labor thought they could solve the housing crisis by "fixing" the supply side.

That approach is a massive failure.

They have now belatedly had an epiphany that the demand side needs to be tackled also.

Labor ... slow to learn basic supply and demand equations.  ::)

Labor knew what they were doing -
making life almost impossible for young people.

Labor needs a massive underclass of poor people to vote for them
and the suckers will keep doing it too.
