Here's another case of Govts granting Aboriginal Land claims over metropolitan crown lands on a technicality without commonsense. Nothing but a money/power grab over land that is not vacant but in use for the community for over 40 years.

If you have ever seen indigenous spending habits, money is burning a hole in their pockets. Indigenous people have a "this is ours, this too" attitude about land claims. But do they look after the place when they get what they want? If you can make money off the land, indigenous people will let you stay. But they want part of the profits.

Weird that a tennis club would be evicted instead of being used to make money. Is that tennis club profitable?

It's a serious joke when people's land and homes and livelihoods, sometimes for generations, are wiped off at the stroke of some dickweed public servant's pen...

THAT has to stop... all this land claim nonsense is nonsense... they were never supposed to be able to claim land already held legally by someone else.... now our 'governments' have weaseled every way they can to get around that.

So a lease was invalid - validate it... it's not Crown land.... it's been in use for ages under an incorporated body so they have at least an equal claim and more because they've paid for it for years..... there are no unused parts of Crown land or National Park - those are all in use as  ..... Crown Land and National Park... which is what they are in the real world - not just some dormant piece lying around for the taking (again).

Guess we'll all have to vote for One Nation.... settle this all down.

By the year 2050, there is expected a population percentage of 60% white Australian. We might have a population of about 40 million in Australia. So, there may be about 24 million white people around. And that is being optimistic if our replacement level birthrates are reached.

Whenever they want something that is making money, it all becomes part of their land claim. How many stories of land owners facing new claims of land rights from some made up tribal group, because the area has some kind of financial value to it? One remote property owner said that he inherited his property from his father, and that there were no indigenous people in the area when he settled. His wife said "they only want the land because we have got it". If the place was abandoned and torn down, the land claim would also stop.

Minns is closing the loopholes that allow these wretched land councils from putting in claims.  I know that Mosman Council rejected the $100 million claim for Balmoral Beach calling it outrageous.

Community facilities, crown land and national parks are all in daily use as they are described - there is no possibility of lodging any claim over 'unused' portions of them.

It's as simple as that...

But let me lay it out for you :-

Community facilities needs no explanation... they are community facilities in use as such.

National Parks are totally and daily in use as the National Parks they are designated as being ... no part of them is unused.

Crown Land is held in trust by the crown for future expansion as required in an ever expanding nation with a need for space and land in countless ways... there is no part of Crown land that is not in use as such, being held aside against the future.

Happiness will be reached when every owner of a ‘’quarter acre block’’ or smaller is paying rent.
Don’t bother quoting the current law, that can be changed.

What possible continuous connection to that part of land could they have had?

All these decisions being made by hooded Star Chambers, the modern day Fascist Mafia/gangster government have to be thrown out.
