A mum allegedly hanged her two-year-old son she described as the “anti-Christ”, hours after discussing the Lindsay Clancy case with friends.

There's also a trend on tictok with mothers pretending to kill their kids in videos in support of this murderer. The women of the left have gone insane. I think we need to relabel the left as far left, just look at those here. Insanity seems catching. Depression is no excuse for murder. |

WASHINGTON, DC — Citizens of the United States have proposed repealing the right for women to vote, but only for those women who vocally support child-murderer Lindsay Clancy.
A recent survey shows that while most Americans initially thought women voting was a good idea, the wave of public female support for serial child killer Lindsay Clancy has prompted many to feel that there ought to be some exceptions. "Maybe we should have gone with 'Not-crazy-women's suffrage," said local man Tom Durden. "Don't get me wrong, I don't think women are inherently less able than men, or valuable, any of those things. I just don't think the people throwing up heart signs for toddler murder should be choosing our elected officials. Call me old-fashioned." According the survey results, 94% of Americans agreed that women who support Lindsay Clancy should not be allowed to vote, run for office, or be anywhere near other human beings. "I'm a woman, but watching this unfold, I can admit it's time for some guardrails around the 19th Amendment," said local woman Clarissa Madsen. "Any chick who writes 'We are all Lindsay' on their Instagram account -- I'm sorry, but no ballot for you. Or sharp objects, or flames, or anything else." |

I ventured into the subreddit dedicated to this case. I wanted to see how they were handling the prolonged deliberations.
I had to back away very slowly. Some of these people are on another level. Later I noticed this case was trending on Twitter, and -- against my better judgment -- clicked around a bit. Some incels (is that what they're called now?) were saying that this jury proves why women should not have the right to vote. |

Apparently, since the start of the Clancy trial, 6 or 7 men have murdered their families in the USA. I feel so much of the anti-Clancy sentiment is rooted in good old-fashioned misogyny.
These are good times in the USA for bigots, bullies, and misopgynists. |

Perhaps we just don't like murderers? Does insanity save men from being held account? It's not misogyny unless you think mothers should be allowed to kill their kids. How many women? Did you look? I know of three since without even googling. Two who killed kids in sympathy with Clancy, one by hanging, one who slashed 2 of her kids throats, one survived, one who shot her son in the face so the father or his family could not have him. edit: Personally I think everyone who kills their kids has a severe mental problem, that does not mean they should be free of the consequences or we should let all of them free. |

The idea of people killing their own children is not new. Don't make it sound like Lindsay is having an impact on people, influencing them to commit infanticide.

Normal people don't like murderers; that is true. But those leading the charge against this woman are incels, and MAGA politicians. The case is in the courts. Why use it to advocate taking away the vote for women or use it to attack political oppenents? |

Women are in the crosshairs in the US. You can see from the responses on here how easily that happened with the right provocation. I hold a very dim view of anyone denying it. Welcome, Murial. You are a breathe of fresh air. |

And gotta say, love the reach. "the Lindsay Clancy Effect".
Translates as one woman killing her child sometime after being in discussion online on the subject of Lindsey. I mean, as a woman, i'm loathe to call other people hysterical , but. |

Arrant nonsense, starting with "apparently". You make up nonsense and the draw idiotic conclusions from it. Women are capable of terrible acts and not all of them can or should be explained away by sociology, feminism or 'gender politics'. You can't have it both ways: magnificent, independent, self- directed when triumphant but victims of men, of patriarchal society, of 'righr wing' politics when behaving badly. |

U.S. — Millions of murderers across the country expressed overwhelming optimism today following reports that killing someone is effectively legal, provided the perpetrator informs authorities they were sad. According to legal experts, centuries of criminal precedent had been rendered obsolete by the simple, groundbreaking defense of "feeling a little overwhelmed." "For years, we operated under the outdated assumption that taking a human life required accountability," defense attorney Arnold Carter explained. "We now understand that as long as you mention feeling sad beforehand, the entire legal system immediately pivots to asking if you've been getting enough self-care." Hitman Frank Rizzoli noted that he planned to appeal his life sentence immediately on the grounds that his victims made him feel severely burnt out. "I didn't realize I could just say I was a little down that day and walk away clean." "Looking back, I wasn't cold-blooded; I was just suffering from a profound lack of support from those around me," Rizzoli commented. "If I had known all I needed was a prescription note and some sympathetic press, I would have skipped the whole fleeing-the-country phase." At publishing time, state prosecutors were reportedly dropping all pending murder indictments to instead issue court-ordered lavender tea and mandatory bubble baths |

Lindsay was probably psychotic and therefore deserves sympathy.
I know of a case where a woman killed her infant, took it to the beach and buried it and was found with candles having a vigil for it. Sad , but she deserves sympathy as she was clearly psychotic. Same as a neighbour who has a horse shot by a schizophrenic who thought it was a demon and described it as having evil green slime coming out it's nose. Sad, but deserves sympathy as clearly psychotic. People like martin Bryant are more difficult to categorize. My understanding is Lindsay took a dive out the window and is paralysed and this prompted the feminist go fund me to support her legal action in sueing the hospital. That's probably excessive.and inappropriate given her husband's suffering. As a result the manosphere started a go fund me to support him. Both are now in the millions of dollars. Both probably inappropriate. Money would be better spent on research into psychosis and how to help these people and protect the innocents. Babies or my neighbours horse are innocent and this sort of online nonsense just amps up the mental illness on both sides I consider incels , lefties with TDS and radical feminists all mentally unhealthy. They should take up golf and do stand up comedy. Study Donald. A man who is always in a confident frame of mind. Delusional confidence is better then delusional hatred and delusional infanticide |

I have known of psychotic people in my life. They don't deserve sympathy. In fact, I have heard a police officer once say that if he had to put up with more than a day of a psychotic person's behaviour, the psycho would have an accident.

She does, but it seems the women on the interwebs are are trying to pink wash what she did and say it happened because nobody helps women with postpartum psychosis. Lindsay Clancy actively sought a lot of mental health help in the months before killing her three children on Jan 24, 2023. After her third child was born in May 2022, she saw a psychiatrist regularly (mostly telehealth), went to ERs, called a suicide hotline twice, tried (and was turned away from) a day program, and voluntarily spent 5 days in a psychiatric hospital (McLean). She was prescribed ~13 different meds (30+ prescriptions total) for anxiety, depression, and insomnia — including Zoloft, Prozac, Seroquel, Ambien, Klonopin, and others. She often reported the meds made her worse and kept asking for more help. Providers diagnosed anxiety/depression/insomnia at the time and did not diagnose psychosis while treating her. Her defense later argued she had undiagnosed postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder. |

McLean which is attached to Harvard has a good reputation so you have a point. Throwing herself out a window probably shows that if she was depressed , she was at the severest end. Either way she and her hubby are both grubby if they are grifting cash when their progeny are deceased. And a society which is functional ( say the strong powerful ambitious patriotic Chinese) have much less of this nonsense then the west which is now characterized by fat lazy incels who refuse to lead, angry disillusioned femcells who are emotionally deregulated and entitled useless rotting narcissistic retirees who think the world revolves around keeping them safe. There is not much that is noble in the west. I blame men. They should be more stoical ,emotionally stable , self sacrificing and infusing the world with good vibes |

A woman killing her children was first described in Greek mythology and the famous play by Euripides, Medea kills her two children as the ultimate revenge against her unfaithful husband, Jason.
Revenge senseless and merciless as punishment by immoral Gods of Olympus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNBZVI6k0b4 Quote:

And the Grey Confederates said unto the Blue Yankee Unionists
"We are destroyed from war. But you're on your own now and you will self destruct by Suicide, because we are two wrongs (North & South), that never made a right." In comes the Red East Republicans, but they're waiting for the White West Party to emerge after the Blue Democrat Suicide. |
