About a dozen Australians accused of involvement with the failed Islamic State are set to face trial in Iraq.

Local Iraqi authorities say they have finished interrogating more than 5,700 prisoners transferred from Syria earlier this year.

Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council said the next phase was "their referral to the trial court, each according to the evidence and facts established in his or their case".

They were Australians who found themselves in the Middle East trying to set up some form of Islamic State group. It is like preaching to the choir for them. Fortunately for Australia, we don't have to deal with them tying up the courts in a costly fashion. And we won't have to feed them.

I should have said Islamic/Muslim terrorists.

As for Allah - his inventor(Mohammad warlord)) was for all intents & purposes a terrorist of his time.....

only he invented a religion to justify his terrorism & then had a book put together to give it a semblance of legitimacy.

Surely you don't refer to God as Allah? Prior to Allah the Arabs worshipped several Gods/Idols including the Moon God "Sin".
