Title: Victorian State Election - November 2026. Post by Vic on Sep 3rd, 2026 at 3:24pm
I thought the Libs would have be an absolute shoe in to oust a tired, corrupt, massively unpopular Labor State Government and have a chance to run the State. However, I am starting to wonder if they truely stand a chance as they make more and more costly mistakes that Labor jumps on.
Jess Wilson is a fresh faced and new Leader but Her and her team are not taking it to Labor as I thought they would. Firstly, they earned the term "The Pothole Party" because that is all they concentrated on for the first few weeks - photo ops of sad looking MPs and hopefuls staring into a camera lens and pointing at potholes - trouble was, most were council or federal responsibilities - not State. Their campaign of billions for potholes was countered by Labor and effectively shut them down. This week has seen the decision to offload production of trains to Spain, instead of remaining in Bendigo, with jobs losses to follow. That, coupled with the fact that these new trains will not run on the city loop has been a disaster. Victoria is actually in surplus with state government spending however, is carrying a large debt from borrowings for the big build and eliminating level crossings - so the Premier has funds to move around in the short term to neuter the LNP highlighting shortfalls as we lead up to November. I don't know what the outcome will be, as yet it is still too early to call, but the opinion polls are diametrically opposed as to who will win. One nation are recruiting some good, well educated and fresh aspirants at the moment whilst both Labor and the Libs have the same old faces - some with leadership ambitions and waiting in the wings. Interesting weeks to come |

Neither Labor nor the LNP nor ON will have the required 45 seats to form government.
It will be a minority LNP government with ON support as ON will not support a minority Labor government. You heard it here first. |

There is a long history of ON and the Libs eating each others votes which puts them in the position that they both lose. After all they are both mostly fighting for the same red neck racist conservative vote. Real people will never vote for either. |

No Victoria is already on the bottom. A vote for anyone else besides Labor is a rise upward toward the top. Your race card & redneck BS goes hand in hand with your Trump Derangement Syndrome. The left are a global cancer. Have you ever considered having your self excised & irradiated? |

They are morons - they voted dirty Dan back after what he did to us during Covid. He closed down the whole State over a couple of Covid cases like it was the Black Death or something. Then he had the police using ultra violence on people for sitting by themselves on a park bench in the sun. We went though utter madness because of Dan. Victoria is a place that's always on the edge of insanity. |

They don't care about Politics, beyond just acting it up for the Media. Victorians put Lefty things like Sport as their cultural priority and as we see with the ALP, its much the same at Fed level |

One Nation’s star recruit Barnaby Joyce says he has been in talks with senior Liberal Party figures about offering confidence and supply to a future minority Coalition government, and this deal would be reciprocated if Pauline Hanson had the numbers. |

I received an SMS today reminding me to make sure I am enrolled for the Victorian State Election.
Which is quite amusing because I'm in Western Australia and I have never even been to Victoria. ;D Of course, I know that it's just something else which was meant for the previous owner(s) of my mobile number. The debt collectors are still trying to call my number (without any success, of course). They may be finally getting the hint because they haven't tried now for nearly 3 weeks. |

Post by Grappler Racist Filth on Oct 15th, 2026 at 10:23am Made Glorious Summer in this chance to vote And all the Clods who shut them out of a house In the Deep Bosom of the Ocean buried. Now are the Cows bound by Victoria's votes Their Bruised Balls hung up for monuments. Grim visaged Voters have smoothed their Outrageous Front And now instead of mounting Barbed Campaigns To Fright the Souls of Fearful Voters They caper nimbly in the National Press To the Lascivious Counting of their Loot. Even booted out of office it's a win-win for the political class.. |

Victorian Premier Ben Carroll stole petrol - petrol station drive off:
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-10-21/vic-premier-ben-carroll-forgot-to-pay-for-fuel/107291426 Victorian Premier Ben Carroll has repaid a fuel bill after driving off from a petrol station without paying late on Monday night. That evening, Mr Carroll was receiving briefings on the attack that critically injured independent MP Helen Haines in the north-east of the state. "Monday was a tough day for a lot of reasons, and I got home and I had a busy night on the phone," Mr Carroll told reporters this morning. "And my wife and I had a discussion about who was going to return [my daughter's] friend's pencil case. "I said, I'd do it and I'd get petrol. And then I found out the following day I hadn't paid for the petrol." Mr Carroll said he fixed up the bill right away and thanked the team at the service station for their understanding. The ABC understands Mr Carroll was notified of the mistake by the Department of Parliamentary Services, which was contacted by police yesterday. |
