Once again we have the forum brought to its knees by almost 3,000 guests flooding the forum. Clearly they’re bots. The solution is simple. End access for guests and make it members only! If you won’t do this, I’m going to just find a different forum and you can oversee a forum full of bots but no humans.

Day two and there's still over 2,000 guests I mean bots on this forum slowing it down. Are the moderators in a coma?

The slowness is really bad when the number of "Guests" gets close to 3000 (like it is right now).

When they drop down closer to 2000 it's a lot better. They've been fluctuating between 2000 and 3000 for several days now.

(freediver hasn't been online here for 4 days and he's probably the only one who can do anything about it).

Not really. I recall last time FD did a full Ethnic Cleansing of the 3000+.

There’s now over 10,400 guests. I’ve never seen that many. No way they’re humans. It’s almost all bots, and it’s bringing this forum to its knees. If guest access isn’t ended by close of business today, I’m out of here. This is ridiculous.

Thanks Carl, it jumps to 3000 at the moment when turned off.  I am trying to balance it as FD prefers it Off, but it is getting out of hand when on
