In recent months, the USA's (or Trump's) call for assistance in their 'conflict' against Iran has been met with silence from a lot of countries around the world. The United States 'appears' to be biting off more than it can chew. The USA attacked Iran. In response, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz.

For my mind, Iran does not seem to be doing anything wrong in the lead up to the attack by the USA. Sure, there is the call for a democratisation of Iran by the students and people of Iran. There is probably some call for other social changes to Iranian society -- although I have not done enough study of contemporary events in Iran. So, it is difficult to want to commit lives of the Australian military personnel towards attacking Iran for little to no reason.

Boycotting China, India, Germany and Turkey in trade will serve no purpose.

China is our largest trading partner -
we won't stop trading with China or we'd go broke.   :o
