Nebraska crowd revolts on MAGA Rep Mike Flood as town hall turns into open rebellion
Mike Flood walked into a Nebraska town hall expecting to explain himself and got a revolt instead.
For the second time in six weeks, the MAGA congressman stood in front of his own constituents in Bellevue and was met with a wall of boos, jeers, and pointed questions he could not answer. This is a district Trump won by 12 points, and even here the anger toward the Trump agenda has boiled all the way over.
The loudest moment came when Flood tried to defend the cuts buried in the Big Beautiful Bill. He actually claimed the law "protected Medicaid," and the room erupted. These are people who know exactly what those cuts mean for seniors, for the developmentally disabled, and for families relying on nursing home care, and they were not about to let him rewrite history to their faces.
They booed him on the Iran war. They booed him on his push to gut mail-in voting. And when one constituent stood up and asked point blank, "When are you going to call up President Trump before he bankrupts this country," the crowd made clear whose side they were on.
Flood's office had nothing to say afterward. He did not need to. His constituents said it all for him.
This is what accountability looks like when regular people refuse to sit down and stay quiet. Nebraska showed up, spoke up, and reminded their congressman exactly who he answers to
