The heinous crimes of Trump and his family are irrefutably manifest. Likewise his massively detrimental effect on both the US and the wider world. Denial of these verifiable facts simply results in the person doing so appearing foolish, at best. More frighteningly it speaks clearly of a very dangerous mind.
Take your pick. However, i'm far more concerned with how the top 1% are brutally raping us just how far in these clowns will keep clapping. |

The problem with the second Trump term is that he has literally nothing holding him back now and nothing to lose. The first time around, he wanted a second term, and to get that he couldn't just do whatever he wanted because he still needed to keep voters on side so he could win their vote. He can't run for re-election again, so that isn't holding him back anymore because he doesn't need anyone's approval.
He has also been given carte blanche by the Supreme Court that he stacked with his nominees, when they said he can't be prosecuted for things he does as President. Essentially, they gave him blanket immunity and so he now feels there's no illegalities or corruption he needs to be constrained by anymore. He can get away with whatever he wants in his mind. He made the mistake in his first term of having people around him who, while loyal to a point, would push back when he tried to go too far. He's learned from that and now has surrounded himself with family and sycophants who will do whatever he says and will never, ever push back against him or try to restrain him when he goes too far. All this adds up to a highly corrupt second Trump administration with zero checks that is not afraid to do illegal things or take part in openly corrupt behaviour. It's a literal disaster for the United States and will make his disastrous first term look like child's play by comparison. |

Yes guys, i know. Trump is a colossal threat and his supporters are deranged. Some through mental illness and some through sheer nastiness of character.
We establish this day after day. There is no argument, only denial and projection. What i would like us to discuss is how the tech giants are about to kill us all. Thanks. |

Data centres? Outside the US, Australia has emerged as the premier destination for data centre development and investment. More than $150 billion is lined up, waiting to be poured into this frenzied race to build AI infrastructure, prompting some analysts to invoke memories of the mining boom. Almost 20 per cent of all non-residential construction is now being directed towards building these temples of technology. As Westpac senior economist Pat Bustamente points out, this frenzied investment windfall is taking place alongside a huge investment in energy generation and transmission. "Alongside the potential $200 billion energy transition investment pipeline, Australia is seeing an investment boom, with the total pipeline approaching 13 per cent of GDP, rivalling the size of the mining investment boom," he says. ABC The Albanese Government strongly supports the growth of data centres in Australia, championing massive investments from global tech giants to cement the nation's digital and AI infrastructure. https://www.industry.gov.au/publications/expectations-data-centres-and-ai-infrastructure-developers |

A push for a moratorium on artificial intelligence data centres, led by “ambushed” communities and a politically diverse alliance including senior Greens and conservative farmers, is gaining momentum from cities to the bush.
New figures obtained by The Australian show an almost trebling of AI data centre energy needs from 1.4GW to 3.9GW in the next four years, while their water needs will rise from 5.5GL to 17GL. Former Greens leader and Global Greens ambassador Christine Milne told The Australian the rapid spread of energy-hungry AI data centres was damaging the environment, water resources and communities with “no returns” for locals. The pioneering climate activist said the spread of AI data centres was also undermining the emissions reduction benefits of the national renewables rollout, including the federally bankrolled Snowy 2.0 and Marinus Link projects. She backed calls for Australia to follow Singapore and parts of the US in imposing a moratorium on new data centres until more comprehensive planning and regulatory regimes were in place. “The federal government need to look at it as a national issue because we have got limited water and energy capacity,” Ms Milne said. “These are big-picture issues and there’s a lot of federal money being allocated for the transition to renewables, including vast amounts into Snowy 2.0, for Marinus and for extended transmission networks. https://www.theaustralian.com.au/nation/locals-and-political-foes-unite-to-urge-data-centre-moratorium/news-story/baef4fbc13d3fbd5fec48e1c235271e3 |

We all remember a pregnant woman was arrested in Victoria because she wanted to protest against Victorian Government lockdown rules. She was taken away in handcuffs. Dan Andrews was the Labor premier of Victoria. During the COVID-19 pandemic, law enforcement made thousands of arrests across Australia for breaching strict public health orders and lockdown laws. In Victoria, under Labor, the police beat the protesters, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1zvaZvOBh0 |
