No it was filmed at Grande Oaks Country Club in Florida just south of Mar-a-Lago. They chose this course because it has no palm trees. They were pretending to be in the Mid West.

Though the series was a spoof on Mar-a-lago type clubs, Yes this is where the film industry originally took the p1ss on people like Trump.

This indoor scene would be at the Boca Raton Hotel / resort about 25 miles south of Mar-a-Lago.

Caddyshack probably had the funniest actors ever put together.

For Caddyshack 1 with Bill Murray and Chevy Chase who hated each other would have been interesting. They were involved in a punch up backstage filming saturday night live earlier. Rodney was unbelievable.

It's a great movie.

Chevy Chase was brilliant, but I've never heard anyone say a nice word about him - he's apparently one of the worst actors in the world to work with.

Gotta love Bill Murray.

And, it also starred Michael O'Keefe who is now - quite unbelievably - 71 years old.
