McConnell is in hospital. Watching him on TV these days, he looks like a stiff breeze would send him flying. There really ought to be an upper age limit for Members of Congress and for the President and Vice President, given how slow-witted Trump has proven to be when he speaks. McConnell is 84 now, so perhaps an upper age limit of 70 should be enacted. This should also apply to Supreme Court Judges as well. It's no good having someone like Ruth Bader Ginsberg on the bench when they're 87 and their mental faculties are failing them and they're expected to make complex decisions.

Otherwise, who the hell was making decisions for him while she was on this errand of mercy? Perhaps Melania can step in as his proxy wife while Chow Chow is out of the country.
