I read that in the news but just can’t bring myself to watch the footage.
Such a tragedy that should never have happened. I am quietly confident that the courts will see justice done. ( unlike Australia courts and judges). |

Murderers. There is no way that they did not know there was no rope attached.

The far more plausible theory is that it was an accident. If you actually want to kill someone, doing it on camera in front of dozens of witnesses is not the most obvious choice.

I guess they need a printed out checklist for every person that they have to tick off so this doesn't happen again. :o
Shocking mistake. They must feel terrible about this. |

Maria was obviously a thrill seeker. And she experienced.........something unexpected......for 1/2 a second. |

Checklist wouldn't work. They would just tick all the boxes at the start of the day. Or the end of the day. Or not at all. I am pretty sure the staff did not have their safety harnesses on properly either. |

How is it, not one of those throwers, did not realise … are all of them blind? FMD! >:( :-[
Both my kids when they were 18 and 16 did a bungee jump in NZ. If there’s any error at least the landing is in water…just how one hits the water from a height is the only worry. They both said the free falling was the most nerve wracking part and couldn’t wait to feel the rope pull them back. https://www.bungy.co.nz/queenstown/kawarau-bungy-centre/kawarau-bridge-bungy/ |

Allegedly, those responsible went and changed their shirts. Why would they do that? To avoid accusations that the victim's DNA were on them? To put doubt in the cameraman's footage? To have the witnesses experience confusion about what they saw, after experiencing their own horror? Maybe it was an accident. But, that won't save those responsible from a lengthy stay in prison. |

Have you seen the Africans doing the bungee jumping? They jump off the platform and usually smack into the ground head first before the bungee rope can pull them back. It is chaos. How they don't realise how stupid they are, it is unbelievable.
