First time while he was likely a criminal he wasn't a convicter one he also wasn't an insurectionist at that time. Is it worse that he is the first convicted criminal President or the first insurectionist President appointed in conrivention to the constitution. Yes the 14th amendment explicitly states that Donald Trump can never be President legitimately after 2020. |

Thats the thing, he does what no one else can do, thats the amazing thing about Trump. He affects the lives of so many people, more than any other person alive. |

Everyone talks about how great America is, but they are really not that great and the proof is in what we have seen since Trump first entered politics as a Presidential candidate. It got exponentially worse when he was convicted of several dozen felony sex offences and yet he was still allowed to run for office - even after he was impeached not once, but twice. It shows just how broken the US political system is when Trump can pardon criminals who make payments to him, negating their commitment to repay their victims or serve their jail sentences. He uses pardons to personally enrich himself financially. But the truly ridiculous thing about US politics is that a twice impeached convicted felon can be elected President, but a former Governor of California can't even run for President because while he is a naturalised American citizen, he wasn't born in the US and anyone not born in the US is barred from running for President. It has taken a second Trump presidency to show just how broken and easily corrupted the US government and political system really is. Half the dumb sh!t he's done, and continues to do, wouldn't even be possible in the Australian political system or government.

WASHINGTON, D.C. Facing increased criticism over the ongoing conflict with Iran, President Donald Trump promised to learn from his mistakes just as soon as he did something wrong. "I'll be the first to admit it if it ever happens, which it won't," the president told reporters. "If I ever do anything wrong which has never happened before in all of human history, it'd be really something if it did happen, frankly then I promise to learn from my mistakes. I'm a very humble man maybe even the most humble so I'm eager to grow and change, if the occasion should call for it." Trump was forced to commit to correcting his mistakes after repeated questions from the press about why the war with Iran had still not been resolved, his controversial tariff policies, and the rising cost of oil. In response, he reiterated that he was very eager to learn and grow in the unlikely event there would ever be a reason for him to do so. "Only the fake news would say I ever made a mistake, but if I did, you'd be the first to hear about it," Trump explained. "I would apologize better than any president ever had certainly better than Obama. Or Sleepy Joe Biden. You could never understand him when he apologized." At publishing time, Trump had confirmed that the closest he ever came to making a mistake was almost turning down his cameo role in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. |

Title: Re: How naive to elect a criminal Post by Bobby. on Apr 21st, 2026 at 3:34pm Trump is like Johnny Rocco - they'll never get em. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACTkVM6t_bo Johnny Rocco : So I won't get away with it huh? How many times I heard that from dumb coppers I couldn't count. Cop - I still say it. Johnny Rocco : You'd give your left eye to nail me wouldn't you? You can see the headlines can't you? 'Local Deputy Captured Johnny Rocco'. Your picture'd be in all the papers. You might even get to tell on the newsreels how you pulled if off, yeah. Listen hick, I was too much for any big city police force to handle. They tried but they couldn't - It took the United States Government to pin a rap on me. Yeah and they won't make it stick. Why you hick, I'll be back pulling strings to get guys elected mayor and governor before you ever get a ten buck raise. Yeah - how many of those guys in office owe everything to me? I made them - yeah I made them just like a tailor makes a suit of clothes - I take a nobody see - teach him what to say - get his name in the paper - pay for his campaign expenses - dish out a lot of groceries and coal - get my boys to bring the voters out - and then count the votes over and over again till they added up right and he was elected. And what happened - did he remember when the going got tough - when the heat was on - no he didn't wanna - all he wanted was to save his own dirty neck - yeah that's enough of that - gimme a towel will ya - public enemy he calls me - me who gave him his public all wrapped up with a fancy bow on it. |
