Former Trump lawyer John Eastman disbarred for trying to overturn 2020 election

The California Supreme Court ordered that attorney John Eastman be disbarred for his role aiding the Trump administration’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election.

Eastman must also pay $5,000 in monetary sanctions.

Pretty sure that this piece of poo has been disbarred several times.

Unfortunately, John was a little strapped for cash at the time. DL said he'd need to consult with his team, discuss it with his ethics counsel, mill it over a bit, you know. Wait and see what happens. 

John lost his job at the uni. He got arrested in Georgia, then got a lucky break when the new MAGA prosecutor dropped the case. If anybody knows about the law, it's John Eastman.

Now, DL's put him up for the Supreme Court. If Clarence Thomas has a stroke, the big fella wants the right guy on the bench. And who better than your own lawyer?

Let's face it, Todd's got his hands full running the DOJ, Lindsay and Alina were ruled unlawful and Mike's come down with the worst case of TDS we've ever seen before.

Oh, he will be - there's nothing more certain.

These things take time, but Blanche will definitely be disbarred.

With a bit of luck he'll face criminal charges too, especially when it's revealed what happened when he visited Maxwell in prison.

Best thing is this is the State of California. Trump has no power to pardon him! 🙂

He’s not being prohibited from practicing law  because of the client he represented, for unpopular political advocacy, aggressive lawyering or espousing a particular ideology or legal view.

He was tossed for what California’s State Bar Court Hearing Department deemed “egregious and deceitful conduct.”

When Eastman tried to overturn valid election results, he engaged in the type of conduct that threatens not only the integrity of the legal profession, but also the rule of law itself. Indeed, the State Bar of California found that Eastman’s false claims about the presidential election misled the “courts, public officials, and the American public.”
