He is also breaking the law. There's a law called the Presidential Records Act, which requires everyone from Trump and Vance to all his cabinet members and even people like the WH Chief of Staff, etc to keep all of their e-mails, letters, notes, text messages, memos and other forms of correspondence or note taking. They are required to be kept by law, and after a set period of time (I think it's 3 years), they must be made available to the public. Hegseth is already breaking the law because he's using Signal, which is encrypted and automatically deletes messages. That's illegal.
