Title: Spain bans us war planes from airspace

So they should, us is an immoral criminal nation who are in a steep decline.
They bomb children.
stifle that behaviour as much as possible

Quote:
.......... “We don’t authorise either the use of military bases or the use of airspace for actions related to the war in Iran,” the minister, Margarita Robles, told reporters. “I think everyone knows Spain’s position. It’s very clear,” she added, calling the war “profoundly illegal and profoundly unjust”.

The closure will force military planes, including those based in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, to bypass Spain en route to targets in the Middle East except in emergencies.        ..........

Trade Minister Don Farrell has cautioned that a Democratic win at the next US presidential election offers no assurance of an end to Donald Trump’s sprawling tariff regime, as Washington reaps billions in revenue from the border taxes.

Since Mr Trump enacted his so-called “Liberation Day” levies last year, the US Treasury has collected at least $US135bn in additional income from companies importing foreign goods – revenue the White House says will help reduce the ballooning federal deficit and fund handouts for households and tariff-hit farmers.

“My fear is that the Democrats might very well say: ‘Look, you know, we can’t give up this … trillions of dollars worth of extra (revenue)’,” he said.

Senator Farrell’s view was echoed by former DFAT chief economist Jenny Gordon, now an honorary professor at Australian National University, who said a Democratic administration would be just as “addicted” to tariffs as the Republican incumbent.

Remember, TDSkids, income tax is a very recent invention, compared to the age old tariff regime.

Today's news is brought to you by the words revenue and deficit and the number trillion.

Who pays the tariff?

Tariffs affect the sellers AND the buyers.
Buyers pay more, if they do buy. But higher prices mean lower consumption of the imports so the seller has lower sales, lower revenue. The consumer buys the now more favourably priced local, American product (and still pays sales tax).
That is why there are counter-tariffs, to increase the price of American imports and thereby reduce their consumption in favour of local products.

Reducing import consumptions also reduces trade imbalances/deficits.

Thought experiment:
If the US imposed a 10,000 % tariff on Chinese goods, making them virtually unsellable in the US market - who would suffer more? the US consumer or Chinese industry?

Er... China.

Because nobody would pay a 10,000% tariff on crappy Chinese imports.

So only people who want to pay tariffs pay tariffs.  Buy local - pay no tariff.

Germany (used to), France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands - basically mainland Europe powers.

Compete colonially we Great Britain and it's colonial successes.
Despite them stealing America from the British in a sublime covert way of using American born people to become independent from Britain, but dependant on them.
They're now seeking to 'steal' Australia via Anus & Co in the Media, especially when Trump has diminished their cultural power and influence somewhat.

Their own Colonies have failed and yet they stole America (half of Canada) and are now trying to usurp British influence here.

France is failing, like Germany did.
We really shouldn't rely on the false and failing Westernism, just because it was around before Great Britain came to be. Not politically anyway and the Media of Music & Entertainment is NOT politics. It shows in USA.

El Cid turfed 'em out - now the namby-pamby panty-waists let them all in under the guise of 'brotherhood of humans', and 'all cultures are equal'................. now they can't move without a train being bombed or similar..... and moves to remove their 4-5% Muslim population will create trouble that no Spaniard wants.

4-5% seems to be the turnover point when demands are imposed under threat.... remember the good old Muslim tax for keeping the peace.... you pay or you stall might be burnt ...

Spain will die an indigenous death in South America, like Amerindians for Asia and Abos for Africa. They have the dragon sickness for gold and South America is where the Serpent lives.

Spain has said 'we will not be a party to murdering people'

So has Italy, UK, Germany, France and Iceland.

Europe, Asia, Africa & Oceania: Lefties

N.America, S.America, Sahul-Australia and Middle-East: Right wing

More a case of "We don't need ya, like you needed us in WW2"

EU can't even get it's sh#t together in regards to Ukraine. They wanted Trump to do it all.

So basically 'who cares' what Europe think?! They're just virtue signalling to hide their lack of when it comes to Politics and Military.

.........  “Trump has been astonishingly inconsistent in his criticism,” RUSI analyst Zwolski said. “He is going from ‘we don’t need the support of European allies’ to ‘why won’t they help us, they are ungrateful.’”

Zwolski also argued that Trump’s comments about the NATO alliance have been astonishing, as the US president indicates that his country will not be as willing to defend its allies in the future.

“The only country that has directly benefited from NATO military action is the United States, when NATO’s Article Five was invoked for the first time after the September 11 attacks,” Zwolski said. “And European leaders in this case are right to point out that NATO is a collective self-defense organization … It’s not an organization to be used as a toolbox for foreign interventions that were not even consulted.”        ........

Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez drew a line in the sand on Trump’s Iran war — and it’s the kind of moral spine we should be seeing from more leaders.
“We’re not going to be complicit in something that’s bad for the world, nor contrary to our values and interests simply to avoid reprisals from someone.”
