Trump is begging NATO countries to help secure the Strait of Hormuz, saying that “we”, meaning America, didn’t need to help them with Ukraine but they did anyway. That’s a load of nonsense, because the US is legally obligated to help due to the agreement signed when Ukraine agreed to give up its Cold War nuclear weapons cache left over from the former Soviet Union.
