Title: Woolies home brand coffee
Post by freediver on Mar 14th, 2026 at 6:54am
Someone gave me a jar of the stuff. I normally buy it at Aldi. But the woolies coffee has a hint of chocolate in the taste. Slightly bitter, dark chocolate. Can't decide whether I like it or not.

My first coffee was when I was 23. My mate made it for me: 10 teaspoons of coffee, 5 teaspoons of sugar, milk and it was like drinking mud.😵
Before I knew it, I had driven from Sydney to Melbourne for the first time.😳

My first coffee was the name of a radio station. It's a Sydney thing.

Ground.

Ground coffee oxidizes and changes flavor fairly quickly.

2 weeks for ground, 2 months for roasted beans, 2 years for green beans.

I buy single origin green beans and roast, grind and mix them myself depending on what I feel like at the time.

It's instant coffee. I keep it in the freezer.
