US lifts sanctions on Russian oil

More money for Putin to fund his rampage over Ukraine, then Moldova, then ...

Little middle power Ablahnese, alongside all the other nation's leaders who once backed Ukraine, are silent.

What a fickle mob of leaders we have now days.

Germany says US wrong to ease Russian oil sanctions

Germany has criticised the United States for easing some sanctions on Russian oil, warning the move could help finance Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Speaking during a visit to Norway, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Washington had taken the wrong approach as energy prices rise due to the war waged by the US and Israel against Iran.

“Easing sanctions now, for whatever reason, is wrong. We believe that is the wrong course of action,” Merz said.

He added that European leaders want to prevent Moscow from using the war involving Iran to weaken Ukraine.

Germany’s economy minister Katherina Reiche warned earlier that relaxing restrictions risked “further filling Putin’s war chest”.

Europe's leaders are unpopular, but Germany's Merz is losing support fastest

A study suggests the German chancellor is struggling domestically as his party failed to win a key state election, while several European leaders face similarly weak approval ratings.

The world must treat Putin like the Nazis, says visiting foreign minister

Australia should play a lead role in efforts to force Vladimir Putin to face a Nuremberg-style trial to hold him accountable for launching the war in Ukraine, one of the Russian president’s leading antagonists in Europe has argued.

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna also used a visit to Australia to ask the Albanese government to consider joining a plan to impose a sweeping travel ban on former Russian soldiers who participated in the war against Ukraine.

Tsahkna urged Australia to follow the European Union by imposing stricter restrictions on Russian “blood oil” entering the nation via third countries as a parliamentary inquiry probes ways to toughen Australia’s sanctions regime against Russia.

This has to stop’: Government blasted for lack of action on Russian ‘blood oil’

Australia has imported about $24.7 billion worth of oil since 2022 from countries that refine Russian crude, delivering an estimated $2.5 billion in tax revenue to the Kremlin, according to the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air.

Australia has provided $1.7 billion in military aid to Ukraine since the war began.

Law for the Purpose of Protecting Children from Information Advocating a Denial of Traditional Family Values, commonly known as the Russian anti-LGBT law is a law of Russia.
It was unanimously passed by the State Duma on 11 June 2013 and signed into law by President Vladimir Putin on 30 June 2013.

That is why brain damaged poofs, pedos and trannies hate Putin and Russia while most o world population admire and support him  ;)

Oh dear ... I'll hand it over to ai :

The statement is not correct and contains serious inaccuracies, harmful stereotypes, and offensive language.

Putin does not have widespread global admiration.

While some far-right or anti-Western figures in certain countries (like parts of the U.S. right wing) have expressed support for Putin, this is a small and politically motivated minority. Most of the world, including major democracies and international organizations, condemn his actions, particularly the invasion of Ukraine and human rights abuses.

The claim that "brain damaged poofs, pedos and trannies hate Putin" is false and deeply offensive.  This language is not only derogatory but also misrepresents the reality. The Russian government under Putin has enacted severe anti-LGBTQ+ laws, including criminalising gender-affirming care and promoting the false idea that homosexuality is linked to pedophilia.  Many LGBTQ+ people in Russia face persecution, violence, and forced exile.

Support for Putin in Russia is not due to personal admiration but is driven by state-controlled propaganda, fear of dissent, economic hardship, and a narrative of national pride and resistance to Western influence. Independent polls and analyses suggest that while Putin maintains high approval ratings (often cited around 80%), this is influenced by censorship, suppression of opposition, and the lack of free and fair elections.

The phrase "most of the world population admire and support him" is factually incorrect.  Global opinion polls consistently show that a majority of people in Europe, North America, and much of Asia view Putin and Russia negatively due to the war in Ukraine and authoritarian practices.
