Hey Chimera, you probably didn't hear about DL's old buddy, Bolenaro.

A couple of months ago, he was out on bail for his coup attempt, renting a pad a few blocks from the US embassy. Little Marco's boys helped him plot an escape. Apparently they had a CIA plane ready to go somewhere in Brazil, all Bolenaro had to do was make it to the US embassy.

So they staged a little protest outside the embassy. Somehow, they manage to cause a power outage. Bolenaro tries to cut off his ankle bracelet. The alarm goes off at the local cop shop and they race over to catch Bolenaro halfway out the door.

Minus the veto, the UNSC - possessing 99% of the world's modern military capacity, would defend the peace by majority vote of the UNSC ie peace as determined by the UN's resolution-passing capacity.
