Nothing truly happens, for life is bereft of all meaning.

Hi Marla. Hope you’re doing okay.
Emotions change every day. Some days I feel that too. Then most days I devour every minute of life.
I find not watching the evening news or Mafs has a better positive outcome than watching them  ;D
Watching (good) people doing animal rescue work. It’s a reason I make donation to those causes.
Watching the Winter Olympics has fascinated me more than ever for some reason. All the sacrificing and years of training and I feel nervous for them when that particular moment in time when the world is watching….no pressure right?  :-/
The ice skaters/dancers where a couple of falls happened… after being tossed in the air to do those triple twists ….. it either works or it doesn’t…. makes me hold my breath!

When life gets me down, and not much cheeriness occurs, in the quiet of the night, I plug in my earbuds, I lose myself into tic Tok and watch funny animal vids.

Was thinking how amazing we have all this at our fingertips compared to pre internet days.
Back then I used to read a lot of books to lose myself into. Loved going to the library. Everyone is quiet and no one talks or bothers you!  :)

Hope I’m not rambling too much. ;D

life is bereft .

'Old English bereafian "to deprive of, take away by violence, seize, rob,"  Old Frisian biravia "despoil, rob, deprive (someone of something)'.
