That reminds me of a time, we were in south east Asia, waiting in line for a ski high rail carriage, and a nice couple we spoke with, his wife had a full face covering except for the eyes.
Then later I saw this woman with that covering looking at me eagerly, I didn’t know it was her, she was smiling to say hello… it finally twigged who it was… I nearly said….”I didn’t recognise you without your husband”  ;D (because he had no face covering of course!  ::)
