Hmm shopping for a few things yesterday including milk.

Put a litre full cream milk into my basket. Kept looking, found a 2L bottle unhomogenised milk put that in my basket—forgot to return the 1L bottle to the shop fridge. Oops!

Well, summer is not far away so I will use the extra milk to make gelato, specifically the custard that when frozen and churned makes up the bulk of a gelato.

I have a Breville ice cream maker with compressor. I also have a Cuisinart ice cream maker, the type where you freeze the bowl for 24 hours. Only cost me $20 for an unused machine so why not? Good brand! I also bought a dozen duck eggs yesterday so the ingredients are all there.
