Excerpts - "a. Promote the integrity of information related to climate change at the international, national, and local levels, in line with international human rights law, including freedom of expression standards;" Which we shall determine "e. Promote informed and inclusive climate action by advancing equitable access to accurate, consistent, evidence-based, and understandable information on climate change for all stakeholders;" Of which we shall be the sole arbiters "Foster cooperation and capacity-building nationally, among States, multilateral organizations, academia, civil society, and the private sector to address threats to information integrity on climate change, in alignment with international freedom of expression standards, support the development of resilient and plural information on climate change ecosystems, safeguard those reporting on and researching climate issues, enhance public awareness on climate change, and reinforce trust in climate science and science-based policies" But we repeat ourselves "b. Ensure transparent, human rights-responsible advertising practices that bolster information integrity on climate change and support reliable information and journalism." As decided by us "6. In endorsing this Declaration, we reaffirm our shared responsibility to ensure that societies around the world are empowered with the knowledge and information they need to act urgently and decisively in the face of the climate crisis." We want your money, we will decide policy, your individual governments will kowtow to us, as we know best. Any dissent is denial and will not be tolerated. |
