Lots of facebook articles and news snippets of an impending move by Barnaby to One Nation.    It would be political suicide IMHO, but then again, Barnaby isn’t the brightest tool in the shed and I am sure the Nationals would like to palm him off as quickly as possible.   His days of glory have gone, and I think he is just an embarrassment to the Nationals.    I wonder what the good people of Armidale would think of this though - I am not sure they would continue to support him, and One Nation, if he made the move

It's economomics from first principles, based on logic; unlike the current Neoclassical orthodoxy which has forced Chalmers to gamble on the stock market  to (hopefully!) raise  funds off market so he can build some "affordable" homes while 'balancing the budget' ....yet the HAFF has failed miserably to reduce homelesness or housing stress.

The poor bugger (he's not even an economist) doesnt know the Oz treasury can create Oz dollars ex nihilo  (principle #1).

Meanwhile governments are failing everywhere to promote social cohesion because politicians are trying to 'balance the budget' - the US govt. is currently shut down, and the French PM has avoided a no confidence motion and government collapse by agreeing to drop Macron's pension "reforms". 

There's the "empirical proof" the current 'balanced budget' orthodoxy doesn't work....
