Why is it that Trump is only doing this in Blue states, even when there are plenty of Red states with worse crime stats? The administration’s public rationale (crime, public order etc) and its choice of high-visibility, Democratic-led cities (rather than a uniform, data-driven roll-out across the worst-crime states) is why critics call the deployments politically selective. Because they are. |

Very sad :'( Trump's Gestapo goons will start killing people soon. It's too late now - this is the beginning of the end for America. He'll continue to do this in blue states, then declare that the US is at war, and ultimately cancel all elections. |

He was banned from using Oregon National Guard, so he’s flown in California National Guard instead to circumvent the Judge. I hope Oregon takes him to Court for an emergency injunction and to try him for contempt of Court. He really does deserve to be in prison for the rest of his natural life.

Trump said he didn't have the authority on Jan 6 to call out the National Guard in order to stop his Vice President from being hanged, yet he has no problem calling them out now to shoot jaywalkers. I wonder what changed :-/ |

For example? But Republicans have backed the president’s efforts, with Texas governor Greg Abbott writing on social media platform X that he “fully authorised” Trump to muster 400 Texas National Guard troops to Oregon. “You can either fully enforce protection for federal employees or get out of the way and let [the] Texas Guard do it,” he said. Mike Johnson, the Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives, told NBC News on Sunday that “in a few of these blue states, in deep blue cities that are run by soft-on-crime mayors, they need some help”. He won’t be satisfied with anything you say, even though every single news source shows that Trump is deploying the National Guard only in Democrat cities and states - not a single instance in a Republican city or state. |

That shows donny is loyal and a good friend to his family and friends. He is Marlon Brando in the godfather. If you want to take him on with assassination attempts and lawfare and disobedience then you have to accept the consequences. The left made their bed, now they can lie in it. If they don't like it, put up a leftie candidate for 2028. But they can't They don't have anyone. They are universally despised by the fine patriots who love what the big fella is doing 👏 |

You're at least right about one thing, he's playing the Godfather role to perfection. Trump isn't even pretending to care about the law anymore, he's flaunting his power precisely because he knows he's untouchable while in office. That isn't loyalty or strength, it's textbook criminal behaviour. Quote:
Firstly, we still don't even know if the so-called assassination attempts were real, and the idea of "lawfare" being used against Trump is laughable. The justice system didn't suddenly become partisan, Trump broke the law, and the law caught up with him. The only reason he hasn't faced a sentence is because he's the President. That's it. It's not because he's innocent, or because the charges lack merit, it's because the Constitution requires that he be impeached and removed from office before any criminal sentence can be carried out. Quote:
Exactly. And it's one of the many reasons he'll keep leaning into that mob-boss persona, to ensure the Democrats can't retake Congress. Between the Epstein files, the looming economic collapse, and the erosion of his own base as they start to feel the pain of his policies, from ICE raids tearing apart families, to farms being lost, healthcare gutted, and cost of living soaring, Trump knows his survival depends on crushing the democratic process itself. Quote:
That line is just your excuse for abandoning every principle you once claimed to stand for. When the rules were reversed, you screamed about fairness and justice. Now that your side is actually abusing power, not this BS about the "Biden Crime Family", you act as if there is nothing wrong and even consider it strength. Quote:
They have at least two strong candidates, and Vance, after being forced to defend the wreckage of Trump's presidency, won't stand a chance against either of them. He'll be crushed under the weight of Trump's failures before the first debate even ends. But that's a conversation for another day. |

I don't think I'll provide you with the distraction away from your comment about Trump being a crime boss, especially after the big song and dance about the "Biden Crime Family". Plus, we're not even at the midterms yet. A week is a long time in politics, 3+ years is an eternity. |

Plus, your idea of a strong candidate will be different to his. aquascoot thinks the best candidate for the GOP is an adjudicated rapist and convicted felon who stole money from charities, befriended America's worst paedophile for more than two decades, mocked a disabled man on TV, groomed a 10-year-old girl in a hotel and openly admitted on several occasions that he'd like to have sex with his own daughter. Nobody from the Dems would be able to meet that criteria. |

All I know as someone who has been to Portland which is basically a smug hipster/filthy hippie cesspool of stoners and numerous failed musicians people there are way to mellow to riot. In fact, most of them don't wake up until after 2 in the afternoon.
As for Chicago. Yeah, f**king hate them. |
