I might celebrate by taking a walk to Kings Park and back later.

Something I was planning to do yesterday but the weather put a stop to it.

The annual Everlasting Kings Park Festival celebrates the extraordinary diversity and beauty of Western Australia's famous wildflowers throughout September.

From 12 – 29 September 2025 take part in fabulous workshops, tours, art displays, guided walks and family activities while wandering through Perth's favourite tourist destination.

Spring 2025 will be a feast for the senses with thousands of wildflowers and more than 3,000 WA plant species on display.

Just a WA holiday, I think.

It used to be 'Royal Show Day', but they changed it to 'Queens Birthday' years ago.

The King of Australia's real birthday is in November.

Good to hear from you, Spot.  Hope your health is okay.
