Yeah, seems like nowhere.
And I've been to nowhere. It's called "Kansas." |

Ringwood, Vic, had an agricultural research station. It developed Pride of Ringwood hops. Reasonably high alpha acid, bitterness a bit rough.
Fine as a bittering hop, wouldn’t use it as aroma/flavor addition. I have used it, have even grown it. If I was still brewing—damn arthritis—I would grow it! |

Amazing. A long line of cars like that and not a single @sshole driver trying to jump the queue by driving down the wrong side of the road (or on the footpath) like we see in so many of those Dash Cam Owners Australia compilations. I'm impressed. |

It's where I'm going to hang out when I visit Kangaroo Land once they legalize weed. Screw that touristy nonsense, I wanna chill with some hardcore ringers.

Go to Nimbin - it's legal there. You can buy it from kids on pushbikes in the main street. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uotc8hKSTT8 |

That’s Bond street by the looks of it, opposite Eastland shopping centre. That Stockdale and Lego real estate on the right, used to be a 2 story brown brick building back in the 1970s where I went to business college for a year. I loved it. Shorthand, typing, book-keeping. One of those best years of my life, I had gotten my licence then so I drove half hour there and back home every day. Them were the days, next time I drive through I will take photos of how it’s changed in Main Street (Maroondah Highway) with the ugliest way too tall new Vic roads building dwarfing all the nice buildings and upgrade of Ringwood Station. I’ve seen many changes in the past 5 decades. That Eastland shopping centre is so big now, I get tired just looking at it let alone walking through it. Costco now occupies what used to be Ringwood Market where a lot of individual stall holders had their unique wares. I’ve still got a vase my daughter bought for me 30 years ago when she went shopping there with grandma (my mum). When east-link toll was going to be built, a lot of hooha about it and spoiling the wildlife, so they build a tunnel under the Mullum Mullum creek. “Pride of Ringworm” is a common expression for “Pride of Ringwood” hops. |
