Title: Machete recycling bins
Post by aquascoot on Sep 6th, 2025 at 8:27am
Hay Bobby, we recycle cans up here in qld but I see your premier is installing 60 " machete amnesty bins" so the bad guys can hand in their weapons annonymously

Seems like she's got the problem licked  ;)

Oh yeah?

Did they get any handed in yet?

What's the difference between a large kitchen carving knife and a machete?    :-/

Hay Bobby. I see mick malthouse suffered a home invasion. And got struck in the chest with a screwdriver.
He managed to fight them off
One had a crowbar .  Melbourne is getting a bit insane

The liberal government in qld is really getting tough on youth crime

Why do Labor governments seem so inept

I bet your premier and old Dan live in a gated community

Dirty Dan wouldn't last long in any public bar in Melbourne -

I'm sure someone would punch him.   :-[

But the Victorian government is seen to be doing something
What’s the betting that no one cuts a hole in some bins for a cheap source of weapons?

It's 45 disposal bins which cost the taxpayers $13 million.

It's around $2.5-3K a bin to make where is the rest of the money going is it to labors union mates?

$13 million of taxpayers money spent it will make no difference with gangs who use machetes.

Wanker - & who have been wielding the machetes in Melbourne like it's a revolution in Sudan?

What side do they lean toward?

Never mind the bins that cost taxpayers $13 million dollars are not fit for purpose.

1. machetes can't fit through the opening

2. the back of the bins are all fitted with allen/hex key screws which can be opened by any one with a set of keys.

You, they, them, the left are all appallingly stupid softcocks without an intelligent notion between them.
