Alan Kohler is right. China is the main culprit, but you can add in India and Russia along with the USA.

As for Australia, we don't have much impact in the grand scheme of things.

And China IS building more fossil fuel power plants and exporting coal. ;)

Are you saying the new coal plants don't even have scrubbers? That doesn't seem high-tech. ;)

Speaking of the "Green economy" ... I was reminded today that the ban on new ICE cars starts in 2030 (UK and EU). :o

Time to seriously consider ditching that old* ICE car in the driveway.

* It's only 8 years old though. :(

They had to close down industry in Beijing during the Olympics -
it was so full of pea soup fog. ::)
