On any given night, 4 out of 10 women behind bars are Indigenous women, despite making up only 2.5 per cent of the adult female population.

Despite several governments' committing to reduce the number of First Nations people being sent to prison, the numbers seem to be going the wrong way.[/url]

The federal, state and territory governments, along with peak bodies, have committed to reduce the number of First Nations people incarcerated by 15 per cent by 2031 as part of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap.

However, the number of First Nations people going to prison has more than doubled in the past 15 years, climbing from 7,387 people in 2009 to 15,070 people this year.

What is all this BS about 'personal power' - women or men or what?

WGAF?  Your power as a social being comes from your ability to get along with others.... so either you are a social being or you are not.

What is it that causes ideologues to separate such things into racial or colour or ethnic or cultural groups and try to make out that specific groups etc have some special mystical powers??

Why did the US lose the Battle of Savo Island, suffer so many casualties at Iwo Jima etc?  Because of some belief in the intrinsic and hidden powers of the American soldier......

Why did the Japanese suffer and lose so badly at Tenaru, and countless other places?  Because of some belief in the intrinsic and hidden powers of the Japanese soldier.

Throughout history - and nowhere more disastrously than in the mid 19th to mid 20th Centuries, have these beliefs resulted in massive loss of life and terrible carnage.

If you want to identify with some mystical power, why not declare yourself transgender or something?  For a bunch of powerful women they sure suffer a lot under the heel of their Oppressors.

Power?
They don’t know what power is.

The Melaneasian women of Woego Island had the men doing their own seperate cooking.

Yes - their men - it was the problem before colonisation and it's still the problem now.

And FFS I wish they'd stop all this "First Nations" bullshyte.

Never were - never will be.
