Not so sure I agree. Newsome just managed to overturn decades-old environmental legislation in California to make building there easier. He understands the housing problem, he knows what voters want. He's a firm centrist, and he's prepared to take his party on to give voters what they want.

The Dems aren't in total disarray, dear. The Mooch is a Republican. Political debate is the sign of a healthy democracy. What the Republicans do is authoritarianism.

That's why authoritarian posters like JaSin come on to throw a tantie every time their DL is mentioned. These types demand total obedience. That doesn't work in the Democratic party and never will.
