“ We are saddened to see all the trees in Perth die but we really don’t care and hope that the new Perth rugby league club can somehow bring fire ants into Perth in the near future to further destroy our natural environment as a priority “.

Total cultural desert. The art gallery of WA is the most desultory, pointless art institution I have seen and if you look at its reviews, I am not alone. The museum of Perth is a joke. The 'soundscape' of some Abos droning on about something around Perth Airport is ludicrous. The fetishising of Abos everywhere you turn is ridiculous.
Feels a bit like Sydney in the '80 but with modern infrastructure and a lot Asians.
Next time I am going to explore the SW coast from Fremantle - which is noice - to Denmark.
