There appears to be underground Iranian support for Israel's program to end Iran's nuclear program... How else can Mossad's ability to saunter into Iran, like it's Israel's backyard, be explained?

For the Iranian Mullahs, if they gave up their nuclear program, they'd be signing their own death warrants.

It wouldn't surprise me if Mossad agents, like a flash mob, on command, could be standing by the entire religious supreme leadership, wipe them out, walk out of their palace, order Ghormeh Sabzi to go from a Tehran food stand, drink a coffee, then amble to the pick-up point, fly back to Israel, to be home in time to watch rebroadcasts of Fauda.

Not much point taking out the religious leadership. The replacements are not going to be any different.

The reason Israel doesn't pull off something like that is likely because its hands are tied by Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Sunni leadership, not because more of the same would rise from the reigning mullahs' ashes... Probably most Iranians would dance in their ashes.

The Shiite Islamic Republic is peppered with Iranian Sunni minorities. and surrounded by Sunni states, that would surge in, to claim a piece of Iran... not to mention the sectarian civil war it would inspire in Iraq...

And that would be just the first week.

Week 2 would be the start of a massive world oil crisis as the entire region is engulfed in war.

Thank God for Israel. Nobody else has dared to deal with Iran decisively. Everyone condemns Israel but privately everyone - the Arabs, the Europeans, the Americans, Australians, everyone - says thank God Israel has done the needful.

What the Israelis pulled off shows there must be significant support for total regime change within Iran.

Smart move really, Iran have to accept that they cannot build nuclear weapons. Right or wrong the pursuit of nuclear weapons will always bring war to Iran. The rhetoric from Iran towards Israel has made it impossible for Israel to accept Iran gaining nuclear weapons.

Iranians leaders see America as a enemy so dealing with trump will always be treated as siding with the enemy, by having Russia take the lead they can deal in a friendlier manner and possibly listen to Russia a lot better than they would listen to America.

It’s difficult for me to understand.

In my little town everything is good.

On the other side of the world it’s war.

I have seen my share of needless death.

I find it all very unnerving. :(

I am predicting a change in Iranian leadership, the nuclear ambitions quietly, but not completely dropped, but otherwise no real change in stance, including towards Israel. Iran is similar to China. The CCP is internally democratic, while Iran has a democracy, but the candidates are chosen by the Mullahs. This will probably to be enough to avoid a revolution, as it is hard to imagine Muslims successfully rebelling against a religious oligarchy. The most rabid fanatics will always be the religious ones, and the Mullahs will not cede control without a real fight.
