“ Federal Health Minister Mark Butler said the delay in enacting the reforms would ensure "all of the systems are in place to deliver a smooth transition to the new laws". Butler is such a mental giant he wears slip on because he finds it too difficult to tie laces. Australian elderly left in this moronic man’s hands!!!!! |

With all due respect - another sheila-fun organisation hitting the skids.... and on top of that the Libs are screeching about needing more women!
Why not just make all seats women's and passed down through the female line? I warned Dutto that if he didn't stand for something - he could only fall.... if the LNP does not stand tall and say there is NO reason to artificially push women on the electorate any more than men or dingoes or gutter snakes - it will not stand for anything. Let them stand for a candidate's position on a level playing field... no quotas which are anathema to Democracy - and let the voters decide without all this BS. For years it was a given that women didn't go well in politics because the people didn't really want them - now the people are being told they must want them.. the Progressive New Fascists on both sides are imposing on the people and their fright to choose by vote... Think on this - you can vote for any candidate you want - as long as it's the one we want... sounds like Stalino-Fascist Communist China, no? You can vote for anyone you want - but candidacy is restricted to Hopplebytes.. so you will only get a Hopplebyte in Parliament. Madness - pure madness... |

What else would you expect from a so called Federal Health Minister who hasn't lifted a finger to do anything to stop the ongoing deaths of elderly Australians due to Covid?
I bet he doesn't even give it a moment's thought (except perhaps to think about how much money the government is saving on pensions and healthcare costs). But, hey... the idiot did a pretty cool Elvis impersonation a while back. About the only thing he's good at (and I wouldn't even say that was great). |

Albo = Starmer Down Under.
Starmer's Labour got 34% of the vote, and 412 seats in a 650 seat Hoc = 63% of seats All's Labor got ... er...34 % of the vote and 94 seats in a 150 seat government = 63 % of seats. |

34% hardly a real landslide victory.

So the Labor Government is in power, it passed legislation with Coalition support, but it is the Coalition's problem that the Labor Party hasn't done it? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

.. and never a mandate ... just another stolen election... stolen from the people... Thing I like about this discussion is that it opens my eyes to the realities - people have long said that our 'voting system' ensures that a major party will always win.... now we all know why. People can place a party last and that party could still get that vote after all others are exhausted. Time for that to change, alongside our Senate.... same thing - the major population centres with all their disasters and narrow thinking rule the roost. Chop up the states ... two senators per state. |
