They need to - all they need is to accept proper direction as to what and how.... no problem-o.
It sure as hell won't be what they've been lurking behind for years now. |

She said, ‘’ The failed Voice referendum meant that we needed to pivot into a new chapter, and truth-telling and treaty are the new chapter.’’
The Voice referendum did not fail, it was a resounding success. She needs to come into the real world, but that won’t happen because division is what the Greens thrive on. |

Poor Kanga - clearly he/she missed the Voice 2.0 or was it Voice Lite via States back-stabbing the Australian people..... the Voice By Stealth - but then - Kanga imagines we are all blind to what has been going on - and has yet to work out that lambasting and trying to turn the tables just doesn't work. Smith tried it - that should be enough to tell you it is a dead idea. There is and was no established government with which to make any treaty - they are not a separate government and never will be unless they go into a Homeland as they demand and stay there as a separate State not part of Australia or funded by Australia - any chance of any such thing is long gone and they are all Australians so it's time they bent to the oar like everyone else if they want land and stuff... No Voice Shall Pass! No 'treaty' guaranteeing them money etc (which is what they want - Rent By Stealth - too late, mates - you lost your Frontier Wars that you reckon you were so great at), no 'truthtelling' - just get it off your chest and then FCS STFU and let the other side of your tall stories have a say. The People have spoken - be careful they do not speak more loudly. That election had to be stolen..... it's as rigged as Lotto .... |

See what happens when mainstream economic ideologues like you insist the government can't eradicate poverty. "Ms Turner said she wanted the federal government to take a stronger role in lifting the age of criminal responsibility, deliver needs-based funding to the community-controlled sector and finalise the Coalition of Peaks's economic development partnership with Treasury. "Closing the Gap is every minister's responsibility, not just Malarndirri McCarthy's, it belongs to every minister in the federal cabinet," she said. Unlike many commentators in Brian's linked article. Pat Turner is at least confronting the actual issues needing to be dealt with, rather than being diverted by cultural nonsense re 'first nations' sovereignty' in the Uluru statement. Rudd has already apologized for past wrongs, now the eradication of poverty and closing the gap remain to be achieved, which is Albo's preferred course of action this term (after the loss of the Voice referendum last term). But Albo doen't know how to eradicate poverty, other than via continuing welfare dependency aka 'the poverty industry', so we can expect little progress on closing the gap in this term. |

Northern Territory police believe a daylight stabbing in front of shocked families last week occurred because those involved had received a “huge amount” of royalty payments and travelled from a dry community to Alice Springs to drink.
Stabbing victim Vernon Gibson had to be flown to Adelaide following the alcohol-related attack on Thursday, which began at a popular bar before spilling out on the street. The latest episode of public violence came as the Territory government rejected opposition calls for a trial to expand the Banned Drinker Register (BDR) to include pubs, clubs and bars, with Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro saying laws had already been strengthened and should not be targeting patrons simply having dinner at a restaurant. Multiple sources have told The Australian Mr Gibson, along with the man accused of stabbing him, Kaine Fisher, and others, had travelled from the dry community of Nyirrpi, about seven hours west of Alice Springs, to drink after receiving their royalty payments. Last week, royalties to the tune of over $1.1m were paid by the Warlpiri Aboriginal Corporation, with an association affiliated with the families involved in the fight believed to have received part of that payment worth $136,908.16, according to documents obtained by The Australian. Police are also still searching for a separate man who is believed to have fled Alice Springs, who could be seen in the video in the aftermath of the first stabbing, allegedly attempting to stab another man. He is not believed to be involved in the alleged stabbing of Mr Gibson. “Police are working closely with traditional owners, elders, community members, land councils, and other government agencies to enhance community safety and prevent further incidents,” NT police commander James Grey-Spence said. :D :D :D :D The Australian revealed last week that Mr Fisher had faced court on almost a dozen occasions as an adult for serious offences, including being armed in public and aggravated assault. |

“ The Albanese government must use its historic mandate and standing with the electorate to deliver the remaining reforms of the Uluru Statement, namely treaty and truth-telling, Indigenous leaders say.”
“ABC Regardless what I believe that’s a very valid point. They should revisit the voice and present it in a revised version and continue on from there. Don’t shoot me, I’m only the messenger for the majority of people who voted for them. Democracy is the worse form of government accept for every other kind that’s been tried! As one Aborigine said "We are the people of the Land, not Politics"
Maybe the Greens and Nationals should be representing them rather than the Media ALP or even Libs? |

No voice by stealth - the people said NO - you know what's funny - only 61% of the people voted NO to the voice - 65.5% voted NO to Labor.... yet somehow - via the Gerry Mander Highway - Labor got in!!
That is the difference between first past the post and the Gerry Mander Highway ... or is it a freeway? 3% of the people, give or take a few thousand cheaters - do not get to make demands. I TOLD YOU SO! I GET TO URGE REAL 'BOLD' REFORMS! Let's treat everyone equally - no more preferential treatment of favourites - that's a damned BOLD reform, ay? A realignment/readjustment/reform of the unwieldy and out-dated States is needed now to isolate all the City Slicker luvvies in their own shite-holes and let the real people go about their lives in peace. A greater number of states with the majority being non-city, would give a Senate more in keeping with the real thoughts and feelings of The People, and would give a better option for putting a stop to The Madness. The American approach of two senators per state would make a predominance of Regional senators (which would direcdtly impact positively on dividie's 'poor regional Blacks' vapours), and would put a stop to the dominance by the hopelessly divided cities over policy. For those who WILL cry 'unfair/unequal' - so is 'preferential voting' that permits a party that gained fewer votes than the Nazis to form a government and - under the Howard Doctrine - declare Martial Mandate to do as it wishes, including over-riding the Direct Will Of the People - any who disagree will be ridden over ... and so is the mass of uneducated and biased-educated fools in cities and appointed city Gauleiters/Kommissars in public service bodies over-riding all other views with their wanky trendy ideas - many of those without a real clue about Australia and its culture and such. Now come on, boys and girls - I'm pointing you the way to the future - and you all sit there and suck your thumbs... Divide up the unwieldy and city-ruled states .... settle on a 'two senators per state' principle so as to preclude any region dominating the rest ... settle on a Two State Solution (that is off the table now in Israel, due to Hamas)... therefore two Aboriginal Senators from Homeland Prime would pretty much make the percentage of the population ... disallow any and all divisive preferential 'rules' in the schoolyard now ... make citizenship something earned and thus respected (in another forum an INDIAN guy applauded that! Like all good people, he wants the BEST here, not the rubbish) .... if the City Slickers want mass immigration - ensure that this does not alter the vote - let them go for it on their own time and in their own spaces (future mass prison cities - Escape From Darwin-Es-Salaam/Melbai/El Cidney/Khanbertoum .... A whole new world awaits proper reform and revision of our political strata ...... Power To The PEOPLE! 65.5% cannot be told they are wrong and must be ridden over!! Majority rules! Secede Now - Avoid The Rush! |

Of course there remains a putsch to force the voice on us....
It is such a clear danger to our democracy and equality that it must needs be surrounded by a bodyguard of lies... including those who are preaching that it's greatest trick will be to convince Australianity that it does not exist.... What HAS our electoral system done to us? Well - it has pointed out - just like the NEED to break the unwieldy and centrally controlled current States up into manageable and more cohesive groups, thus mandating a need for a different Senate structure to protect States' Rights - the NEED for a complete change AWAY from preferential voting and to a simple 'first-past-the-post' system. The argument for 'preferential voting' is that 'first-past-the-post' takes away any 'representation' for some .......well clearly that is wrong....................... 'preferential voting' takes away the right to Representation from nearly two thirds of the voting public!! When 65.5% of the voting public vote NO to a party and that party wins in a landslide - clearly there is something very wrong ... wrong with both the distribution of seats and with preferential voting. How does this impact on The Voice? It focuses on the NEED to guarantee that a failed Referendum is not pushed on the public by other means, and serves - as all of the measures I've outlined above do - to give a greater degree of guarantee to People's Rights and more power to the individual vote in this man's Democracy! ;) |
