'Sucker punch' after buying rooftop solar, and a home battery ??



THE CLAIM.......
Under some plans,......after part subsidy of a home battery installation.......some electricity retailers are
a/   sucking your home battery 'almost' empty [during periods of grid peak energy draw],
then also,
b/   charging battery owner a high tariff for their own energy use, from the grid
[.....doesn't such practice [a/ and b/ ].....negate much of the 'advantage'......of owning your own home battery to draw from ???].

He signed an agreement......
Which must allow his retailer to manage the flow out of his battery.......in such a way.

Sneaky though.......if what they intended........was not stated explicitly.....in the wording of the agreement he signed up to.

offers to sell you a LOTTO ticket......
when the signage in the newsagent says your ticket......could win $20 million ?

.......does anyone read the small print on the back of the LOTTO ticket ?

No I wouldn't, I wouldn't disagree either, just read the fine print before you sign up for anything.

if you don't understand it - don't sign it.
