Trump has brought so many frivolous cases before the Courts, they ought to ban him as a vexatious litigant.

'However, under both the Constitution and the Impoundment Control Act, the president cannot withhold congressionally-approved funding without congressional authorization. Previous administrations have tried and failed to push similar measures, and courts have repeatedly ruled that such attempts violate both statutory and constitutional principles. Despite what the president wants us to think, this attempt is no different.' https://www.aclu.org/news/civil-liberties/trumps-attempt-to-unilaterally-control-state-and-local-funding-is-dangerous-dumb-and-undemocratic Big Don may fight like hell or 'seig hell'. |

Maine high schooler on transgender athlete controversy, "It never should have happened." Zoe Hutchins, a Senior attending Lawrence High School in Fairfield, said that her teammate had to compete against a transgender athlete during the Class B Indoor Track and Field State Championship. "My friend who had to directly compete against him kept saying it's just not fair, and she is right. It is not fair, and it never should have happened," Hutchins said. https://wgme.com/news/local/transgender-athlete-controversy-in-maine-sparks-national-debate |

Zoe explained that she was a trans-teacher and felt she was qualified to be head teacher. 'I always felt wrong in a student's body and identify with top positions'. The school head has resigned and Zoe is now on a big salary at the High School.

Principals maybe, but not constitutional law. That said there is nothing stopping the President from doing it. As in previous cases it would have to be decided in the courts.....after the fact.....with the United States Supreme Court the final arbiter if it gets that far, & SCOTUS agrees to hear it......and that is if/until the President orders it done the next time, where the long lists of appeals in court were finally settled. If the President orders any allocated funds withheld it could easily spend many months going through litigation prior to any allocations.....& IMHO most would prefer out-of-court arbitration, because it probably would be faster, as opposed to months of litigation. A law is only as good as the fortitude & strength of those willing to enforce it. |

Yes, before he became President. Regardless, if he wanted to disrupt the money from getting to where he doesn't want it to go, even if he looses, it could take many months before it is fully litigated.....& what he wanted to disrupt may have already been accomplished. |

And here you have it, leftards. The first confession of full-blown fascism. Thanks, Aquascoot, it's good to have everybody on the same page, dear. The old boy will be joining you forthwith. After a few limpwristed attempts at obfuscation, he'll come clean too, I can assure you. It's taken us a few years, but we got there in the end, no? |

You're out now, Aquascoot. We always knew what you were up to, dear. Your fawning over the "noble Vlad" was revolting enough, but now we have the program in your own words: threaten and lock up anyone who steps out of line. Just think, nobody made you say that, you came up with it all on your own. You grew up in nice, peaceful Australia too - no wars, no depressions, just Sky News on the box first thing in the morning. It just goes to show how dormant the fascist mindset is. You don't even have to be a goose-stepper or Jew-hater. Scary, no? Just think, if a comfy retiree in sunny old Queensland can turn Nazi, who else? Here we all were thinking fascism is so unAustralian. Our grandparents lived through WWI and the depression, then fought another war to defeat fascism. They were fervent believers in democracy. They never would have imagined their grandkids giving Nazi salutes and threatening to lock up anyone who stands in the way. But we could, and we can, so now we know. Civilisation has its discontents, no? SIEG HEIL !!! |

Maine has a law, dear. Your DL is ordering a governor to break state law. And not only. He's publicly threatening to withdraw federal taxes Maine residents paid and telling their governor he'll end her political career. How's that for backroom diplomacy? Art of the deal, is it? You gave up rule of law long ago, dear boy, so stop faking. The jig's up, as every schoolboy knows. VENGEANCE !!! |
