Title: France and their stupid laws! Post by Sophia on Feb 10th, 2025 at 3:55am
I don’t usually bother watching 60 minutes, but the tv was on and this case was shown.
https://youtu.be/kgi4qVA2lrQ?si=rmzqEJpnY1JOYftI What I got out of it was about the laws about cold cases. After a certain amount of time none can be convicted of the crime, even when dna match, and this monster in the story above admitted to the rape and murder of a female years prior to this current atrocity. Then there was another similar rape/murder of another young female… but the police lost the dna. What a bunch of half wits! Buy fancy that…. the cold case after x amount of years under law of France not to be resolved, even with damning dna evidence, Wow, just wow >:( Whoever heard of such a stupid law? |

'No rhyme or reason'. There can be a statute of limitations, or not. NSW has no limit for murder but 'other offenses involving death are six months from the end of the coronial inquest, or two years after the offense'. No limitation for rape. Pourquoi?

Statute of limitations? If a murder case can be resolved and person responsible held accountable… rather than getting away with crime committed…. Whilst the dead person has no life anymore.
Right … got it. So the family can have closure if a case is solved… but instead… grieve some more… dna did its job but then stupid lawmakers didn’t do theirs… I don’t frikken care how long ago shyte crimes happened…it stays as is until dna has found the guilty. Passage of time means sfa…I’m still wondering what happened to the Beaumont children! |

There is no price on justice - justice in a court system must be free for all equally - nor is there any statute of limitations for some crimes.
There is a need to rebuild the Imperial Corps of Soul-less Assassins - for dispensing good and justice ... one thing all civilised countries lack is the application of certain of the old punishments - dunking, weekend in the stocks (not at Bernie's stock market), exile ... you know the good old ones.... and for the Ninja punishment of genuine and serious malfeasants who think they got away with it... Ah, so - one fine Japanese novel - The Nightingale Floor - was about a nasty lord who murdered someone's father .. and slept in a room with a floor around it carefully designed so that the bamboo made sounds when walked upon .. the nightingale floor .. and woke him and his guards .... the son of the murdered man dedicated his life to working out how to quietly cross the nightingale floor so as to exact justice... not vengeance .. justice. Dai ichi fine difference! Hai!! There ya go, poppets - The Nightingale Floor and Blossoms In The Wind all in one night! Nipponese culture at its very best and relevant to today's West for the thoughtful... you are welcome..... |

That sounds like an interesting book. Living in such paranoid times then … and nowadays… we have cctv and intruder alarms that make the noise of intruders to awaken us. I think Melbourne has copped that so badly of late… all these break ins looking for keys to prestigious cars…while family sleep….and these ar$eholes are known to police as they are always out on bail!!!! Hubby thinks it’s all a deliberate ploy letting them out on bail to reoffend… it makes news… and it’s all as a distraction to what’s really going on financially in our state etc |

Actually it was 'Across the Nightingale Floor'....
One could go deeper and say that the crime sprees are part of the concept of keeping the peasantry off balance so they can be controlled. First they set about reducing the personal power and rights of men to fundamentally protect and defend home, family and property... now a man who defends property is liable to be charged... now that the Sheilocracy reigns supreme - who is left to defend anything? With rising costs of living and all the other madnesses - just distract the peasants by keeping them constantly in fear of home invasion and other violations of their peaceful lives. as long as they are off balance, they can't gather the strength to oppose wrongful policy directions.... did you see the video of both Albo and Voldemort crying about the 'poor Abos' and the 'gaps' they create for themselves? I've given up on them, same as the Gazans - they build their own disasters. Pure madness... Just last night we had an intruder in some lady's house here - it's a village - we rarely see cops here... they were out today - and I'll bet the list of possible suspects is very short... she woke up to a sound and actually saw this guy... the crime is creeping down to here from Kempsey and Taree - Kempsey is NSW crime capital and Taree is closing in fast ... |

Oh wow, I mentioned this and then it came on news about a new dig up to find their remains! We will know soon… fingers crossed they find something. Feel so sad for the parents … mum died 2019 and dad died 2023…. Would’ve been good closure if the kids remains were found while parents still alive. |

I saw that on the news. A extended ladder and motorbike getaways. What a heist! The authorities say these jewellery items won’t be able to be sold as they are so recognisable etc but me thinks the precious jewellery pieces in the items can be removed and perhaps made into individual earrings, necklace, bracelets, brooches, rings, cuff links, etc Was it an inside job? Who knows! Looked like a fast easy heist! Wow the stuff storylines for movies. |

They'll be sold overseas to non traceable nations, let alone broken down so not to be recognisable
