That's only fair. Jan 26 belongs to NSW, George III and convicts.
Thomas Barrett was the first person executed in the New South Wales colony, and was hanged in Port Jackson on February 27, 1788. Barrett was a convict who was sentenced to death for stealing food.

By definition, the colony of Victoria began as its own colony. It rejected the enlightenment and good manners seen in NSW and shuffled away to the south. It is 'Victoria'. Vic. Funny footie. 4 seasons in 1 day. No flogging, leg-irons and starving on Pinchgut. Just gold-mad money grubbers. Disgusting. Not Australian.

Prince Harry keeps flogging a dead horse and Charles has lashed Prince Andrew. Lidia Thorpe was just lucky on the day.
