Title: faithless electors
Post by Sprintcyclist on Nov 4th, 2024 at 12:54pm

Quote:
........... In the 2016 United States presidential election, ten members of the Electoral College voted or attempted to vote for a candidate different from the ones to whom they were pledged.[1] Three of these votes were invalidated under the faithless elector laws of their respective states, and the elector either subsequently voted for the pledged candidate or was replaced by someone who did.[2][3][4] Although there had been a combined total of 155 instances of individual electors voting faithlessly prior to 2016 in over two centuries of previous US presidential elections, 2016 was the first election in over a hundred years in which multiple electors worked to alter the result of the election.[1]        .........

No doubt whatsoever.

The rapist & convicted felon will try anything & everything to overturn the results of the election if he loses.

If Harris wins the election the (Democrat) Vice President will preside over the certification of the electoral college slates....The Vice President would not accept slates from fake electors....The plan for States changing the slates has not worked in the past due to States intervening!!!

Can she certify her own win, should she gain enough electoral college votes? I would assume it would have to be the senate pro tempore who has to certify the results to eliminate any questions of impropriety, but maybe I’m wrong.

After the rapist tried to steal the election, they changed/clarified the rules regarding the VP counting the electoral votes.

The role is now purely "ceremonial".

I remember that now, so I am guessing the answer to the previous question would be yes - she can certify her own election win as it is purely ceremonial in nature now.

But she will not certify a Trump win until all the steal is in.

We might not get a final result until 2026-27, if then.
She'll be caretaker until all the fake mail-ins are in.

America is no longer a serious country. She is over as the leader of the free world under Biden/Harris. The free world is over, on America's watch.
