Idea to save space on OzPol server.....

I have an idea to save a lot of space on the OzPol server.....

Your database manager, could write a small data 'interrogation' macro,
designed to find all of these OzPol posts on OzPol server....
e.g.

......and then delete them.

OzPol is an open public forum.

Its function [as an open public forum] is to provide a venue for open public debate, relating to topical issues,
for its visitors.

These particular posts [link example above], imo, make no considered contribution whatsoever,
to debate in any OzPol thread.



It is, imo, a terrible waste of 'zeros and ones' space, on someones server, to store all of these superfluous posts.
....not to mention all of the accumulated wasted time, of all of those visitors to OzPol,
necessarily clicking the window slider,
in order to view these individual,
repetitive 'superfluous' comments.


superfluous = = unnecessary, especially through being more than enough.

Yes, 3.2 million posts ... I reckon a few could be deleted.  ;D

A lot of bullshid posts being made. Let us have some clean up work. Delete the deleted posts. Give warnings to the offenders. I don't want to be scrolling through several pages of responses, just to see someone write "cool" as a response. Netiquette time, now!

How about people trimming off all the posts except the actual single post they are replying to?

I try to do that.
It's easy with a desktop or laptop but
it's bloody hard to do on a mobile phone.

I requested that earlier posts of mine be deleted - due to my mental illness. But, for the last 8 years, I have not done too badly. I could not give a damn if all of my posts prior to 2016 be deleted. If there were a few good posts, I won't mind them staying.
