Pity this isn't coming to Perth because I would probably go and see it.
While I'm here, this is another one of those awesome Titanic: Honor and Glory animations that just keep getting better and better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If3wV6XH1cg Titanic Sailing At Sunset | 1 Hour Ambience Animation Direct link to video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If3wV6XH1cg (You don't need to watch for the whole hour because it's the same 4 minute video in a continuous 'loop'). Two things to notice in this video: 1. The slight list to port (about 2 to 3 degrees). R.M.S. Titanic was Not Sunk by Fire Quote:

2. The "This vessel has triple screws" notice boards are now shown with white letters on a black background instead of a red background. Discussion here: Propeller notice boards (the link in the first post no longer points to the article). Since there are no known color photographs of the Titanic or her 2 sisters it was always assumed the signs had a red background but recent research strongly suggests the background was black. I went to see one many years ago at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal. It was quite impressive. Can't quite remember what year it was. Lots of documents, crockery, costumes from the movie, etc. |

I’ve found this from tik tok of a person’s tour of exhibition.
I’m spewing because it was in Melbourne until April this year and I had no idea about it. Maybe take a flight to Brisvegas to go see it. I had a bad fall today as dog ran while leash was expanding and then I thought I could hold it but it lunged me forward face down on gravel. Bump on forehead, (I call it cyclops) maybe fractured little toe, grazed elbows now all bandaged up! The dog is only 18 months old and was licking my face and checking all my aches. Poor thing was stressing. No more long rectractable leashes! All short leashes from here on. But hey, I survived! At my age too! Anyway once I recover I will consider going to Brissy to see exhibition. So have a look at this vid on tik Tok of some of exhibition. Quite fascinating. https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSYytu5TF/ |

Yup, the extendable leads are bad.

Thanks Sophia and Greg.
That exhibition looks awesome and I would definitely go to see it if it ever comes back to Perth. One thing I would really like to see would be the Marconi radio set, there have been plans to try and recover it but it's all 'tangled up' in legal proceedings at the moment. US aims to block expedition to recover Titanic’s radio The sad part is - if it isn't recovered soon then it will probably be lost forever as the remains of the ship continue to deteriorate and collapse. |

I noticed in that video of the exhibition that Sophia posted we saw the Heart of the Ocean blue diamond from James Cameron's epic film. 8-)
Speaking of the film, I've always had a bit of a chuckle every time I've seen this iconic scene: Because, apart from the obvious danger to passengers going up to the bow with all the machinery and spare anchor well, etc., there is also this from the animation I posted earlier (see the red arrow): Which, when looked at closely, is actually this: This notice isn't on the breakwater of the Titanic model used in James Cameron's film... probably just as well... not only would Jack and Rose be putting themselves in a dangerous position they would also be breaking White Star Line regulations and would probably be in serious trouble. Mind you, I'm sure they would have been seen by the bridge crew long before the reached the tip of the bow... or they should have been. And.. that sign is still visible on the wreck today: |

I’ve been looking up about it and many have quite some stories to tell. Ranging from nearly sliced fingers, rope burns and cuts on legs, I saw a hint of one person write to just step on the rope rather than grab with the hand. |
