Why do people think it’s socially acceptable to stop and engage in a conversation in a doorway?

It does my head in!

I’m going too stop and have a conversation standing in the middle of it or at least blocking it!

I have hoped it was a power play from super intellectuals, but no.

Simply rude and stupid individual display this behaviour.

Obviously a 4wd owner at a narrow pathway. They need to carefully assess the travel conditions and side clearance. There's a move to get larger shopping trolleys with rubber fenders for 4wd people.
