Apparently some Spacelink internet satellites were affected but nothing major happened.

Even tho the region is now behind the limb of the sun it is in a part of the sun “magnetically linked to Earth.”

So bigger and brighter aurora still to come. MUST arrange to be in a good viewing spot next time!

I live in the country and was expecting a good viewing, however clouds and rain put a stop to that. The second night there was bit of a break and I thought I saw a faint reddish glow, but that may have been wishful thinking.

Same here, thick dark grey clouds blocked the view.

I am in a rural area too now. Has its advantages but distances are a slight problem.
