Mr Theed said Storch breached his order by not informing Corrective Services of his friendship with the woman which is required as part of this supervision. He was taken back into custody following the breach in January. Defence lawyer Derek Finch said his client was in the NDIS for health issues with his heart and morbid obesity. Storch, who appeared via videolink, interjected saying it was also for mental health reasons. “What’s your mental health issue?” Mr Mack asked. “Ah f---ing I see a psychiatrist every week out there for it,” Storch said. “What’s he say is wrong with you?” Mr Mack asked. “F---ing I don’t know, I’m on 70 tablets a day and an injection once a week – what the f---? “How much is the (NDIS) package worth?” Mr Mack asked. “$500,000,” Storch answered. “A year?” “Two years.” “Oh that’s a relief.” Mr Mack called the situation “madness”. The court heard Storch would need to face the Supreme Court before he was considered for release from custody again. It heard he had previous breaches under the Child Protection (Offender Reporting And Offender Prohibition Order) Act including one he was sentenced for in September 2019.
