Flat Earth...

...its where the Elves go towards their Immortal Undying Lands via the 'straight way', while the rest of the world goes around and around like a Ring of Power (addiction).  ;)

The 'straight way' has been described in many ways by many cultures over time.

The Earth may not be the center of the Universe by Scientific fact, but it is the center of OUR universe from where we are look at it.  ;) That too is a 'fact'.

If you think the universe is a globe, you will spend a lot to get nowhere. At the edge you're back in the middle (which is not the big bang point, the original singularity is now everywhere). You won't get to where you're going and the distances between nowhere is increasing, fast. Buddha lives there.

I think that one could 'never' get to the edge of the Universe as one would have to travel way faster than the speed of light and as Einstein puts it - if you travel at or faster than the speed of light, 'time' itself stops, so one would get nowhere fast and if time stops, then surely the Universe would cease to exist?

Makes one wonder what was 'before' all that Hydrogen ignited for the so-called big bang of intense heat before cooling to what it is now?

Maybe some Alien race is now got its Scientists working on making a Black Hole and that will cause another 'big bang' that not only obliterates their entire world, but causes another Universe to expand within this one and consume us all in a Great Replacement? :D

A ship at the equator needs water on the south side to keep it in position. Antarctic ships are difficult to insure for that reason. Shackleton's ship at the south pole lost it, filled with water and rose up to the sea floor.
